The VALUE of starting
Adrolis Chapman continues to pitch out of the bullpen for the Reds. What a waste of talent. Unless there is some significant factor (i.e. Injury or long term stamina issue.) every team should push there best pitchers to be starters. One inning here and there can depend on who you face along with luck, this can be duplicated by the most untalented of pitchers. Being a starter has REAL VALUE, so please Cincinatti do yourself a favor and make Chapman a starter!

I saw Chapman make one start during spring training, and I agree. He’s got a pretty good breaking ball now and the makings of at least a passable changeup.
Strikeout rate down, walk rate down, pitch count down.
